The Blaugrana have confirmed the signing of Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund for €105 million plus €42 million in add-ons.
An official statement read: "FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ousmane Dembele for 105 million euros plus add-ons.
"The player will sign a five year contract and his buy out-clause is set at 400 million euros.
"Dembele will arrive in Barcelona on Sunday and he will undergo a medical on Monday morning local time."
It's been a frustrating couple of weeks for Barcelona, who have been locked in negotiations with Dortmund and Liverpool for Philippe Coutinho but gotten nowhere.
They now have one of their men, though, which begs the question of whether they will continue pursuing Coutinho.
Liverpool insist they will not be selling the Brazilian for any price this summer, despite Barcelona recently offering them a mind-blowing £136 million.
So, what does Coutinho make of Barcelona securing a £100 million-plus deal for Dembele? Sky Sports' Kaveh Solhekol has revealed all.
Coutinho hoping Barcelona signing Dembélé doesn't mean they're giving up on him. Still wants Barcelona move. Told his "mood is very low"— Kaveh Solhekol (@SkyKaveh) August 25, 2017
According to Solhekol, Coutinho's mood is "very low" at the moment because he's concerned Barcelona will give up on him after signing Dembele.
He hopes that won't be the case, of course, and remains desperate to leave Liverpool.
Much depends on whether Barcelona still have the money to sign Coutinho, having spent over half of Neymar's £198 million fee on Dembele.
Liverpool are reportedly demanding £150 million for the 25-year-old which, if Barca match, would see their summer spend exceed £300 million, having also splashed out on Paulinho.
Even Gerard Pique has his doubts about Barcelona signing Dembele and Coutinho, saying recently that money has become an issue in the transfer market.
"The problem is, we sold Ney and the clubs know we have the money from that, and the market is the way it is," the Spaniard said.
"I don't think it's because the players don't want to come, they are keen to come to Barca, but right now signing whatever player the club wants, it seems to cost more."
